When I was a freshman in HS. I practiced my tail off to make the HS Jazz Band.
There was only 1 spot open. We had a Smokin Band and I made the 5th chair. The rest
of the section was mostly seniors…They took me to Lawrence Kansas about 50 miles
from KC to see this guy named Maynard Ferguson. They had to ask my parents if I
could go. This One Night Changed my Life Forever!…From that moment on, I knew
that this is what I would do for the rest of my Life…I later got to live my
Dream and Play Lead for Maynard…But it All Started with this Ticket!  -Jeff Taylor
